Original 425 chassis - cataphoresis black

The original platform for type AZ and AZU with 425 cc engine is manufactured in Cassis, using the original Citroën crimping machine, guaranteeing compliance with the manufacturer's specifications. Its cataphoresis treatment makes it a very high quality platform, guaranteed for 10 years against corrosion, guaranteeing a successful restoration.

. Rear shock absorber brackets are not supplied. You will need to provide them if your vehicle is fitted with hydraulic rear shock absorbers.
. Anti-corrosion treatment: These platforms receive an anti-corrosion treatment called cataphoresis. This is an epoxy-type surface treatment in which the platforms are immersed in baths, providing total coverage for optimum protection.
An anti-gravel coating is applied to the upper part of the platform, providing additional protection to the central part. In the case of a 2CV or a Dyane, the platform is directly exposed inside the vehicle. This layer of blaxon protects the platform from damage caused by wear and friction, while providing a non-slip surface.

Stamped platform number:
Since April 2011, in order to pass roadworthiness tests, all vehicles less than 30 years old must have the serial number stamped on the platform, in accordance with the factory stamp.
This is charged at €1 for the purchase of an original platform and requires you to send us a copy of the vehicle registration document and the manufacturer's aluminium plate.

How do I choose my platform?

Only original platforms can be stamped with the CITROEN 'chevron'.
