The tolerances on piston and cylinder dimensions are well within Citroën's original specifications.
For optimum performance, it is advisable to order a set of matching jets. These jets provide the correct fuel/air ratio, and are suitable for the 2CV Solex carburettor.
Please note: we encourage you to allow a running-in period of at least 2,000 kilometres at a speed limited to 80 km/h maximum and 4,000 rpm maximum. After this running-in period, your engine will reach its full power potential.
