Need spare parts for the transmission of your Citroën 2CV or your 2CV van? Trust the 2CV Mehari Club Cassis. Our dedicated online offer is organised into the 4 main families of products making up the transmission of cars: the gearbox, the driveshafts, the clutch and finally, the hubs which are also determining parts of transmissions.
2CV transmission: the main parts
The 2CV gearbox page has a very large number of references, many of which are original parts, making up the mechanics of the gearbox, including transmission shafts (primary shaft, sliding pinion shaft, gear shaft), bevel gears, forks, differential bearings, differential shafts, pinions, synchro rings, levers, bearings, lever on the body, transmission wheels, but also other references such as the rear housing or different gearbox oils which are specific to the engine oil. These different spare parts are available individually to repair this or that mechanism. But we also offer you different models of complete 2CV gearboxes, completely renovated in standard exchange. Our "
driveshaft" page mainly offers driveshafts (gearbox side and wheel side) and driveshaft accessories (bellows, pins, grease nipples...). You can also find our "clutch" references in our dedicated page. There you will find various models of complete clutch kits, discs, flywheels, various clutch mechanisms, as well as many other parts and accessories for the clutches of your 2CV, whatever its vintage. Because, it is necessary to know that multiple evolutions of the
clutch marked out the history of this mythical Citroën: a first model, assembled until 1968, which saw three evolutions of its clutch disc which passed successively from 8, to 10 then 18 grooves. Then a second model equipped these cars from 1968 to 1982 and, finally, a last model until 1990. The last important theme in the transmission of a 2CV is the hubs which, together with the driveshafts, enable the power of the engine to be transferred to the wheels and tyres. The hubs include everything that concerns the
wheel bearings, which are available either individually or in kits that include the front or rear bearings, the fixing rings, the bearing seals to ensure watertightness and the rear drum cap in the case of the rear kit. Please note that you can find many car parts for the front or rear axles of the vehicle on other pages: shock absorbers and suspension pots are grouped together on a page in the "chassis" chapter, as are suspension arms. The ball joint references are on the "rack" page in the
steering section. As you will see, our 2CV parts shop is organised by major product families, each of which includes thematic pages such as the exhaust, starter-alternator, ignition-coil-spark plug page in the engine chapter. To distinguish the original spare parts from the other ranges, pictograms indicating the range to which each reference belongs are present on the product photos. To find out the meaning of each pictogram, go to our parts
classification page.
