2cv sill complete right (after 1963)

An adaptable quality sill, to be fitted in place of the original part. This spare part, like the original part, has two fixing points, a mounting bolt for the rear fixing nut on the front wing and a mounting bolt for fixing the seatbelt.

. The sill is welded to the body.
. It is advisable to use a cavity protection type treatment to prevent this part from being subject to internal corrosion.
. This sill does not have the holes for fitting the trim strip. To fit a trim strip, it will be necessary to reproduce the holes which receive the fastening clips for the trim strip as on the original part.
. From January 1964, the 2CV's sills (as well as the chassis) were modified in anticipation of the optional fitting of lap belts to the front seats from August 1964.
